Master’s Degree Program

The Master’s program in Horticultural Science and Engineering is designed to provide advanced theoretical knowledge and practical research skills in the fields of plant physiology, production, breeding, seed technology, biotechnology, and postharvest management of horticultural crops. The program offers specialized training in the following five areas:

Vegetables
Vegetable crops include annual and perennial herbaceous plants whose edible parts are consumed raw or minimally processed. Based on the edible organ, vegetables are categorized as root and tuber vegetables, leafy and stem vegetables, and fruit and seed vegetables. Edible mushrooms are traditionally included in this category for educational and research purposes.
