Introduction of the Bachelor’s Program

Nature Engineering

Program Overview

The Bachelor’s Program in Nature Engineering is an undergraduate academic program offered within the field of Agricultural Engineering and Natural Resources, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Based on official correspondence No. 57480 dated June 11, 2017 (21/03/1396) and the approval of the 61st Session of the Educational Planning Commission held on March 9, 2016 (9/12/1394), the title of the undergraduate curriculum was changed. Accordingly, the curriculum of the Bachelor’s Program in Nature Engineering replaced the former undergraduate curriculum entitled Nature Rehabilitation Engineering, and has since been implemented nationwide.

This curriculum has been formally communicated to all universities and higher education and research institutions operating under the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and is enforceable for all students admitted from the date of approval onward, remaining valid until any future revision is officially approved.

Nature and Objectives of the Program

Nature Engineering is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the scientific understanding, protection, sustainable use, and rehabilitation of natural ecosystems. The Bachelor’s Program is designed to train graduates who possess a solid theoretical foundation and practical skills for managing natural resources in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
