Master’s Degree Program
The Master’s program in Horticultural Science and Engineering is designed to provide advanced theoretical knowledge and practical research skills in the fields of plant physiology, production, breeding, seed technology, biotechnology, and postharvest management of horticultural crops. The program offers specialized training in the following five areas:
Production of Greenhouse Products
This specialization addresses modern greenhouse production systems aimed at increasing resource-use efficiency and mitigating environmental constraints such as water scarcity and soil salinity. Key topics include greenhouse structures and systems, climate control, protected-cultivation plant physiology, specialized training and pruning practices, and integrated pest and disease management.
